kids walking in an insanely orderly single file to ride the Roosevelt isl tram. i tried to imagine the lvl of angst in that line. there were 2 many to fit in 1 car n i said do u think theres a kid who felt strongly abt departing first and is gna hold tht resentment for a few hrs. he said there must b a kid who got separated from their friend group. i think it’s a beautiful day to be annoyed on a field trip. actually an ideal day to feel isolated out of place n forced to walk in a line outside
