honestly I don't have any bry-isms or many thoughts to share right now. But consistency and routine matter to me, so sure.. I'll write and just see where it goes HAHA

This week I was able to close out, or nearly close out, several projects and chores that had been sleeping under the weight of marathon training. Off the list now: songwriting duties, a music video I directed and edited for a very dear friend, a remix, some co-production, and the logistics of another shoot I have today (for myself… #SV #B1).

Catching the rhythm of what day-to-day life has in hold might be the eternal struggle of man, I think. I feel it constantly, and I watch my friends feel it too. What's helped me find the pocket is proximity to people who are already in it - who've found their groove and are living inside it. After experiencing relationships and friendships have felt off-beat, it further cemented how much I rely on others. 

It all came together in a moment of clarity, almost going out of body, at a big dinner celebrating a couple of birthdays last week. A table full of food. A room full of people quietly conspiring toward better versions of themselves. That kind of alignment doesn't translate into words, it needs to be all-encompassing. How fortunate to share even a piece of that arc with them. They make me want to do better, and to do more. 

despair has gravity. But so does good company - and when you're caught by the right people, and you catch them back, something starts moving upward. There's a kind of faith in that. In trusting that the people in your life will hold some of your weight, and maybe lift you past where you could've gotten alone. That's what I want around me. I hope it's what you're building around yourself too. We all deserve to feel that pull.
