Day 34: Third day in Mashiko and the vibes are so good here. The air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful, and I get to do pottery. I started off the day with 3 hours of wedging and then I threw off the hump for the first time. It's so difficult doing it on a kick wheel too because you're expending so much energy controlling both the wheel and the clay. I also saw the wood fire kiln the studio owner made himself - super cool. One day left 😢 but I'd love some more time, I'm learning so much.
